HEP to start preparing the Kosinj and Senj 2 hydro projects

Croatian state owned utility HEP announced it will start construction works related to its HPP Kosinj and HPP Senj 2 projects. However, the investment estimated at almost half a billion euros is still far from realization, as construction will only start on the access roads of the project site. At present, the project is still in its design phase, after which the construction permit will need to be obtained. HEP is also in the process of resolving property and legal relations and is in touch with local communities trying to get support for the project.
